New York State Attorney General @ Westchester Resistance Rally in White Plains, NY

I attended a protest rally at Pace University Law School in White Plains, NY today. The rally featured speeches from prominent political figures, religious leaders, and community activists; all speaking out against Trump's recent Muslim ban/Travel ban. Some of the attendees were New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, New York State Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins, activist Arziki Adamu from Yonkers, and Imam Adam Adamu from Yonkers.

People were also celebrating the recent court ruling by Federal Judge James L. Robart of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington state, that temporarily invalidates Trump's effort to block entry into America to citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries. The George W. Bush nominee was confirmed by the U.S. Senate in June 2004, and made his ruling Friday, June 3, 2017.
